Workshop/Arbeitstreffen

We will begin by identifying the key characteristics of effective teachers in medical schools, and rank these characteristics in order of their importance. We will then determine what skills, tools, and teaching techniques relate to each of the characteristics. Finally, we will develop a concept for a faculty training program that addresses the key skills, tools, and teaching techniques needed by faculty members in medical schools, and we will also develop a system for assessing the training needs of faculty members and monitoring the success of the training.
