Defects of the nose present complex problems in terms of reconstruction, since they involve an important region both from functional and anatomical point of view. The author presents his experience in reconstructive surgery of the nose, evaluating the results related to the use of local flaps and free skin grafts. Among the 13 cases, there was a prevalence of female patients, with a median age of 35. The deformities observed were postsurgical, following the excision of benign and malignant tumors, dog bite, and human bite. The techniques utilized involved the use of median forehead, full thickness skin grafts and nasolabial flaps. Good aesthetic results, with an acceptable outcome and an excellent morphofunctional reconstruction of the nose was achieved in the treated subject.
