This is the third case report of a skeletal melanoma metastasis in the hand known from the literature. The melanoma metastatis of the left scaphoid of a 46-year-old woman mimicked a pseudarthrosis. Our surgical intervention achieved the palliation of her hand metastasis and improved the quality of her life for a period of 13 months with minimal post-operative constraints of hospital stay and cast immobilization. We assed our results the light of the literature.
