The endoscopic treatment of malignant tumors of the nose (nasal and paranasal cavities) and the rhinobase is the challenge of modern otorhinolaryngology. The advanced FESS surgical knowledge, support of neurosurgeon and use of navigated surgery are the basic prerequisites. Since May 2009 we have treated 14 patients with malignant tumor of the nose and paranasal cavities primarily with endoscopic surgery. The role of heritage of working site, preference of surgical approach, histology diagnose, planning of imaging methods, surgical endoscopical experience and others aspects are discussed and this completely new approach within Czech ENT community is followed regarding the European Position Paper on Endoscopic Management of Tumours of the Nose, Paranasal Sinuses and Skull Base published by Europen Rhinologic Society in 2010.
